Do you suggest pressing or dry cleaning the curtains when they arrive?Updated 2 months ago
No need for that! We suggest hanging the panels immediately so gravity can do its thing on wrinkles and creases. Use a steamer if you'd like, but not on velvet. You can also train the curtains by gathering the pleats neatly together. From there, use tape or string to tie the pleats together about 1/4 of the way down from the top. Follow the pleats down the curtain and tie them together again, about 1/4 of the way up from the bottom. Wait at least 48 hours to remove the tape or string. Your panel is now "trained" to hang with nicely folded pleats! Please note, that machine washing your curtains can lead to tears or rips in the fabric due to the bulkiness and hooks on certain styles.
