What is the lead time for custom curtains?

Our curtains are made in the USA and shipped in 10 days or less.

Are panels sold individually or as a pair?

All curtain panels are sold individually.

How do I add trim on the leading edges?

Our curtains are sold individually. If you would like trim on the inside of a set of curtains, order 1 panel with trim on the left and 1 panel with trim on the right.

What curtain widths do you offer?

Windows come in all shapes and sizes, which is why we have you covered with three different widths—25”, 50”, 75" or 100”. We do not offer custom sizes other than the four listed on our website. We recommend selecting the following widths.

How do I choose the correct curtain width and length

Why does the calculator determine a larger width than my window?

For Rod Pocket, Ring Top, and Grommet Curtains, we suggest the width of your panels is 2-3 times the width of the window. Why? This ensures that panels have proper fullness and create the beautiful ripple-effect (as seen in our photos). Proper width

What's the difference between privacy and blackout lining?

All of our curtains are lined on the back, both blackout and privacy lining are a soft white color. The Blackout lining is luxury cotton-polyester fabric that is true 100% blackout. Privacy lets a bit of light in while blackout lining lets you sleep

What is the difference between ring top, pinch pleat, tailored pleat, grommet and rod pocket?

What is the finished width of a pinch pleat curtain panel?

The construction of pleated curtains creates built-in volume and the width refers to the finished top width. If you order a 50” wide pinch pleat panel, for example, the top will have a finished width of 50” while the bottom will be ~90” wide.

How much will my curtains weigh?

It depends on construction and size! See our table below for approximate curtain panel weights.

How many curtain rings do I need?

No, rings are not included. However, curtain hooks are sewn in on ring top, pinch pleat and tailored pleat panels. See below for how many rings you need per panel.

What type of curtain rings should I purchase?

For ring top, pinch pleat, and tailored pleat construction, you should purchase double rings (like the below) from your curtain rod manufacturer. See some of our favorites in the Spice Market.

What curtain rod should I select?

Head to our Curtain Hardware Edit for our go-to rods and finials. The curtain construction determines which rod is best for your panels. See below for our size suggestions:. Rod Pocket: We suggest a 1.25" or smaller rod to accommodate the sewn pocket

Do you sell roman shades?

Not at the moment! We suggest purchasing our fabric by the yard and working with your local upholsterer to create the look you want.

I want to order pillows to match my curtains. How do I know what patterns work together?

Can I return a curtain order?

As our curtains are custom and made-to-order. They cannot be returned. See our full Return Policy for more information.

Do you suggest pressing or dry cleaning the curtains when they arrive?

No need for that! We suggest hanging the panels immediately so gravity can do its thing on wrinkles and creases. Use a steamer if you'd like, but not on velvet. You can also train the curtains by gathering the pleats neatly together. From there, use

What is the best way to clean curtains?

Our custom curtains should be dry cleaned or spot treated only. Machine washing your curtains can lead to tears or rips in the fabric due to the bulkiness and hooks on certain styles.

Will the pattern on the panels line up when the curtains are closed?

Due to fabric width and repeat size limitations, patterns may not align across multiple curtain panels. Therefore, when the curtains are closed the pattern may not line up in a pair of curtains.

How does curtain trim add to my overall length?

Our pom pom and tassel trim adds about an inch to the length of your curtain. The drop from the bottom of the band to the bottom of our pom pom is 1.25, the diameter of the pom pom itself is 1 inch.

What kind of dyes are used to print your fabric?

Our digital print operation is set up to print natural fiber fabrics with fiber reactive dyes. Fiber reactive dyes are more environmentally friendly than pigment dyes. In addition, there are no PFAS on our fabric.

Do your curtains have seams?

Due to the width of our fabric, some curtains will have seams where two pieces are sewn together. Printed Curtains: 75"/100” wide pinch pleat and tailored pleat curtains will have seams. Solid Curtains: 75"/100” width ring top, grommet and rod pocket

How wide is the Rick Rack and Band trim?

These trims are ~2" wide.

What's an engineered seam and why do you not use them?

We currently do not use customer-provided material, we only offer styles and fabrics listed on our website.
